Hi, I'm Tino.
I'm a self-confessed travel and aviation enthusiast, a planner and problem solver, and a bit of a perfectionist when it comes to getting things right.
That might mean completely rethinking a process, finding a way to automate something repetitive, bringing information together in one place or creating an app for an application where there previously wasn't one.
That way of thinking has followed me throughout my career, and ultimately has led me here.
I've always looked for a better way
Over the years I've gained a working experience across a wide range of industries, including Sales, Travel, Retail, IT and Accountancy.
On the surface all very different worlds, but they've all taught me something incredibly valuable.
There is almost always a better way of doing things.
I have found myself constantly questioning and challenging the norm, looking for ways to make things more efficient and thinking about what could happen next rather than simply accepting what happens now.
Industry Evolution
Certain phrases over the years have always made me uncomfortable.
"It's the way we've always done it"
"That's just how the industry works"
Those answers never really satisfied me. Sometimes there are genuinely good reasons for doing something a certain way. Though sometimes we've simply become so accustomed to a process that nobody stops to ask whether it still makes sense.
That's where I come in.
I can visualise what something could look like rather than accepting what's currently in place. I enjoy taking complicated processes apart, understanding why each part exists and then working out whether there's a simpler, smarter or more effective way of doing it.
Once I scope a solution, I then turn the idea into practical technology using modern development tools, APIs, automation and emerging technologies to build mobile and web apps and/or automations to suit requirements.
